"An Uninterpreted Dream Is Like An Unopened Letter" The Talmud
Title The Dream
First thing when you wake up you need to name the dream. After the overall dream has a title (label) then you can move on to focusing on it's individual ingredients. Many songwriters and other creatives keep a recording device or notepad by their bed. This technique historically has preserved the root of their most influential works. This gives the mind a container or frame to work within for the rest of the interpretation.
Sometimes the Focus will seem bigger or be brighter or clearer than other elements or people in the dream.
"Then Adonai answered me and said: “Write down the vision, make it plain on the tablets, so that the reader may run with it. "
The Prophet Habakkuk
Chapter 2 Verse 2
Find The Focus Of The Dream
Next the Dream will have a Focus and a Sub-Focus. The Focal Point of the Dream is the element that holds the rest of the dream together, it's the main ingredient so to speak. Without this main ingredient the dream really couldn't exist. It's a big circle in the center of a Dream Diagram. There will be other elements that are smaller circles but not the main focus of the dream. These are are called sub-focuses.
Sub Focuses can be distracting from the focus and main purpose of the dream if we aren't careful. Which is an accurate reflection of life and all the ways The Creator directs us in real life.
"Thus says Adonai, your Redeemer,
the Holy One of Israel:
“I am Adonai your God,
who teaches you to profit, who leads you in the way you should go. "
The Prophet Isaiah
Chapter 48 Verse 17
Submit The Dream To
The Elders
The Elders
Finally, the most important step is to pray on the meaning of the dream once you have it recorded. And to ask The Creator to show you which actions you need to Take or just as importantly Not Take in regards to the dream. Dreams comes with responsibility and acting on them or speaking about them must come with careful and prayerful consideration.
Dreams like Prophetic Words and Visions need to be submitted to the Elders (Spiritually Mature People) or Revelatory Voices within the Congregation for consideration.
"Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others evaluate."

Extrinsic Dreams
Extrensic Dreams are dreams about other people and their situations being highlighted. In these dreams you are observing so that you can understand a situation and sometimes to be warned. These dreams are often simply so you can intercede for the people and places and organizations involved. It is very important to not share these kinds of dreams with those who do not understand that dreams are usually symbols. These are essentially secrets that we are being entrusted with. If you are a person with a revelatory gifting, you bear extra responsibility for the revelation your received. It is basically privileged information.
""He said to me: “Son of man, lift your eyes toward the north.” So I lifted up my eyes toward the north. Behold, north of the gate of the altar, was this image provoking jealousy in the entrance.
He said to me: “Son of man, do you see what they are doing, the great abominations that the house of Israel is committing here, that drives me far off from My own Sanctuary? But you will see even greater abominations.”
The Prophet Ezekiel
Chapter 8 Verse 5
Intrinsic Dreams
Intrinsic Dreams are dreams about yourself and your situation. In these dreams you are not simply observing you are also experiencing. These are given so you can understand what you are going through or being warned or given a course of action to take.
These dreams need to be shared only with those you trust that hear from The Creator and understand the need to pray for a Spirit-Led Interpretation.
"But while he considered these things, behold, an angel of Adonai appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Miriam as your wife, for the Child conceived in her is from the Ruach ha-Kodesh."
